Project Manager

Job Description


Responsibilities:

Executes and delivers on all project management tasks from contract award to project closure. Ensures successful handover of deliverables as defined in the scope of work while meeting budget, schedule and quality expectations. The Project Manager acts as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and the customer.

1.Effectively communicate with customers, peers, team, and supervisor in a proactive manner
2.Manage project scope, budget, and timeline and achieve all milestones effectively
3.Identify and mitigate risks
4.Report and understand KPIs
5.As needed, travel to customer facilities to the US, Canada and internationally
6.Co-ordinate activities with client and multiple vendors



Must Have Skills:


Education:

•University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
•PMP certification or in-depth knowledge of PMI methodologies
•Strong communication skills in English (Written and Spoken)


Experience:


•Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ project management experience
•Experience in working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, understanding business objectives, and multi-tasking
•Ability to build collaborative relationships
•Established track record of managing large and complex enterprise-level projects for external customers
•Ability to find solutions to project roadblocks with minimal supervision
•Strong negotiation skills and substantial experience working with multiple project stakeholders


Nice to Have Skills:



•Fluency in another language is an asset

•Experience in AV industry and/or web design (including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Photoshop) and/or communication industry, would be considered an asset
