Integrated Services Manager

Montreal, Quebec  - Contract

Job Description

The Integrated Services Manager, supported by the Director, Product, Development and Support and in collaboration with the development and configuration team, architects and other project leads, be accountable and responsible for the development and production support of OACIS and other various health solutions.
In addition to leading the technical delivery of health applications and solutions, the Integrated Services Manager will also be accountable for overseeing cross team collaboration ensuring proper conformance, managing budgets and integration of all components within a specific health eco system.


•Provide technical leadership and lead development teams through execution of solution delivery
•Manage partnerships with external and 3rd party teams extending our Health delivery team`s delivery capabilities
•Drive collaboration for creation of technical design documentations e.g. Detail Design and Architecture Blueprint documents
•Act as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the technical direction for Health solutions
•Be involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design, development, integration and implementation
•Problem solving
•Systems analysis and design, system modeling, performance modeling, integration planning and technology and component selection to ensure architectural consistency and coherence between technical and business processes
•Manage THPS's process requirements as defined within the individual projects
•Manage technical projects and proof of concepts
•Must be able to travel domestically, an average of 50-60% travel required.
•Must be able to manage budgets with solid understanding of CAPEX and OPEX financial rules and managing large complex architectures for platform development and deployment projects.

Must Have Skills:

Required Knowledge:
•Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture and design patterns
•Experience with integration of security services including authentication, authorization, encryption and audit capabilities as part of an overall system design
•Progressive software development experience, developing high-volume, on-line transaction processing applications in a multi-platform, multi-tiered, 24x7 environment
•Demonstrated capacity for problem solving, synthesis, and making sound recommendations and decisions
•Structured and disciplined application and object-oriented development methodology

•Ability to lead teams through design and articulate complex technical concepts into executable development work packages
•Strong technology awareness
•Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills

•Well-organized; expert analytical skills

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Science or equivalent

Required Experience:

• 5-7 years in leading software design, Application Architect experience in healthcare related applications and solutions design/development and related B2B environments, including projects with HL7 and related health care privacy and security standards
