Integration Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a versatile, energetic self-starter who has a background in technical consulting, technical implementation, software deployment, data integration (including HL7), and internal application support. Working on our Professional Service’s team, the Integration Analyst will be responsible for helping our Clients successfully integrate internal and external data with our software applications.

Manage multiple technical projects at various stages of delivery
•Work with director and manager-level client counterparts to consult, set expectations and deliver in a professional and effective manner
•Troubleshoot and resolve software user, configuration and data integration issues, and escalate to the appropriate team
•Communicate bugs and enhancement requests with the Product and Development teams
•Fulfill the terms of our Service Level Agreement (SLA) to ensure client satisfaction
•Document inquiries and requests using Salesforce
•Provide training to our clients’ technical teams on first line application troubleshooting steps
•Coordinate software delivery, preparation, installation, configuration and system validation
•Configure and troubleshoot web server services such as IIS, Application Pools, SSL
•Configure database field mapping for a variety of lookups/feeds our application utilizes, and troubleshoot ETL and file import/export issues
•Create knowledgebase articles and provide internal training sessions Integration
•Designing, implementing, and supporting various clinical data feeds including lab and ADT, amongst others
•Working with various formats of data, including data that is unstructured
•Designing and Assisting with data conversion/translation projects and initiatives involving various data feeds and repositories
•Build scripts/ tools / automation for process efficiency, and maintaining internal tools and utilities
•Troubleshoot ADT (HL7) message issues by working with the client's interface team and ensure the proper fields were processed correctly into the database
•Analyze and understand client information workflow
•Query live SQL databases in search of data integrity or performance issues
•Write and modify SQL triggers, functions, stored procedures, views and general statements as part of designing solutions for our clients
•Trace performance issues with the use of SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor and similar tools

Must Have Skills:

•Strong knowledge in TypeScript, JavaScript and C#
•Strong proficiency with reading and writing XML/XSLT, JSON, and both SOAP and RESTful Web Services
•Experience with and ability to learn clinical protocols and formats
•Solid understanding of IIS and web application deployment
•Knowledge of HL7 framework and standards
•Working experience with VM’s and setting up environments
•Strong proficiency with writing SQL statements
•Ability to troubleshoot network access issues, including routing and firewall configuration issues
•Troubleshooting Browser issues
•Working knowledge of various operating systems including Windows 7/10, Server 2008/2012/2016
•Understanding of SMTP and email systems and troubleshooting
•Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
•Experience with continuous integration
•5 years preferred of hands-on Healthcare data analysis in a hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:

•Experience of configuring and developing against integration platforms (e.g. Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, BizTalk, eGate, Cloverleaf)
•Experience configuring and developing against common HIS systems (e.g. Epic, Cerner, McKesson, Meditech, Medquist and Transcend)
•Healthcare IT, project management and/or network administration experience
•Experience presenting internally and externally communicating technical topics to technical and non-technical users and stakeholders
