Job Description

Our client partner has built a capital markets platform on top of one of the world's most widely adopted SaaS infrastructures, and done so in a way that few others can. They are targeting a fintech market segment that has been overlooked by most (they have one direct competitor so far), but has massive potential. The data centralization, automation, compliance and other services their platform delivers are 10x solutions for companies ranging from small foreign exchange brokers to your community bank. Only a few years into the business, and with hardly any real marketing yet, the customers are lining up; they're going to need some help scaling up the current platform and building out the product roadmap if they're going to meet demand... that's where you come in.

The Product team here is a small but mighty group passionate about building great products. The right person will be responsible for working directly with management and user feedback to set product priorities on what gets built when, and will be responsible for the full product life-cycle. In this role, you will own and provide direction on the roadmap for the entire product. You don’t need forex experience to succeed- just an understanding of the market combined with the curiosity to learn and the drive to make those around you better.

In this role, you will
• Curate the product roadmap with management, including prioritizing/ grooming product backlog and setting timelines for delivery
• Communicate product direction internally across management, engineering, delivery, sales, & marketing, as well as externally to customers and partners
• Lead product design, customer/ partner discovery & write user stories
• Plan and manage product releases
• Monitor performance/ adoption; advocate for product innovations that drive traction and usage
• Develop innovative product collateral to educate external/ internal audiences


Must Have Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or finance/ accounting
• 3-5 years in B2B product development
• Strong communications skills across management, business, and technical teams
• Ability to thrive in an agile environment


Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with capital markets and/ or foreign exchange
