SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

Downtown Montreal, Quebec  - Contract



Job Description

The Sr Program Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the implementation of complex healthcare solutions and other technology solutions for large, strategic customers.

Responsibilities:

•Plan and Manage delivery of complex healthcare solutions in Public Healthcare facilities:
Where the program is large ($ multi-million), complex and carries significant strategic importance;
Involving a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including Product Management, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, Marketing & Finance;
Leveraging cross functional teams;
Focusing on delivering high quality technology solutions to improve patient care;
Collaborating with international partners and suppliers;

•Employ rigorous project management discipline in all delivery work, including for example: status reporting, issues management, budget management, forecasting, communications, and reporting key performance indicators;
•Implement strong governance and reporting to key internal and external stakeholders including clear escalation and risk management;
•Produce and deliver high quality presentations for executive audiences with clear messaging and story line;
•Proactively identify and resolve program issues, employing strong tactical and critical strategic thinking and engaging organizational resources as required.

Required skills:

•Excellent program management and delivery skills;
•Ability to construct reports and presentations with well-structured thoughts and presentation style;
•Ability to proactively identify and implement communication, risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies to ensure program success;
•Strong tactical and critical strategic thinking capabilities;
•Excellent interpersonal skills interacting with a wide-range of clinical, information technology (IT) and management professionals, including executives and governance bodies;
•Proficient at communicating at all levels of an organization;
•Excellent presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills;


Required experience:

•Minimum 7 years of experience working in project management, information systems, health services delivery, and/or clinical systems implementation;
•Experience leading without formal authority and working collaboratively across groups to achieve results;
•Experience managing the delivery of complex information technology projects with multiple integration points;
•Strong Microsoft (MS) Excel & PowerPoint skills;
•Passion for making a difference in healthcare;
•Unwavering commitment to quality;

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

•Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Marketing, Health Services Management, clinical profession (e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy) or related discipline;

Bilingual: English (100%) and French (80%)


Nice to Have Skills:

•Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Management Consultant (CMC) or equivalent designation/certification is an asset;
•Scrum/Agile certification is an asset;
