Support Engineer

Job Description

Our client partner is a non-profit organization, focused on improving the blockchain ecosystem by promoting and developing open-source decentralized software. They believe that blockchain-based technologies can change the world for the better, and are actively investing in initiatives such as core research, engineering development, and education to improve communication and collaboration within this young global community.

As they grow, they'll need some help supporting their global community. To start, you can expect to
- Become a subject matter expert
- Monitor forums and answer questions
- Work with users to fix bugs
- Communicate any issues to the Product Manager and Dev Teams

In the nearterm, this role may also begin to include Enterprise Support (which would be similar to Platform Evangelism in some companies), helping larger organization adopt an open-source strategy.

Must Have Skills:

- Computer Science Degree and/or experience developing software or tools for developers
- Familiarity with open-source software and frameworks
- Understanding of APIs
- Excellent communication skills
