Program Manager

Montreal, Quebec  - Permanent

Job Description

You have a proven track record as a Senior Producer / Program Manager, and you will be responsible to lead different teams in order to plan and execute new initiative and projects. You will work closely with the Product Management and Development teams.

You will:
•Create and monitor schedules for software analysis, development, testing and delivery
•Host regular sprint activities
•Communicate roadblocks to help developers and other teams to achieve established goals in the allotted time
•Create and maintain "up to date" detailed Jira tickets associated with development tasks
•Provide information to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones and deliverables are achieved
•Communicate frequently with the product and development teams on project status, risks, and opportunities

Must Have Skills:

Proven track record of charismatic leadership, technical expertise and business acumen.
Bachelors of Art or Science (or equivalent) plus 5 to 10 years of experience in project and team management, including working closely with other teams within a software development organization (Product, QA, Marketing, Sales, etc.…)
Prior Scrum Master experience
Strong understanding of client/server relationships, in order to work with the Platform Team that develops APIs
Mastery of the Agile development environment and the ability to handle the frequent changes it entails
Critical thinking — using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Monitoring — monitoring/assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
Able to communicate effectively with product, programming, test, IT, analysts and architecture personnel
Able to facilitate for and communicate with various groups (e.g. Product, Marketing, Sales, International teams, etc.)

Exceptional oral and written communications skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Proven experience managing schedules and employees to achieve desired results
Experience with consumer-centric products and/or game development is a highly preferred.
Bilingual (English/French)
