Job Description:
Department Overview: Risk Solutions is responsible for defining, building and supporting the technology solutions for the Finance Basel II Regulatory Reporting business lines and the Corporate Risk business based on their strategic and tactical business initiatives. This Project Manager role within the Risk Reporting technology team in CSTS Risk Solutions is responsible for successfully delivering Tier 1, 2 and 3 projects that relate to Basel II Regulatory Reporting and internal Risk Reporting projects. |

Job Description:
-Accountable for the project management process and project management deliverables, including SDLC deliverables, for assigned technology Tier 1, 2 and 3 projects -Ensures compliance to project management and SDLC methodology by ensuring that recognized project management processes, discipline and controls are consistently applied to projects -Manages all communication to key project stakeholders, including technology and business partners. -Proven experience in effective stakeholder management and proven ability to work effectively with teams and individually. -Facilitates project meetings as required during the different project phases -Create agendas and concise meeting minutes for technology project meetings -Identifies all project dependencies and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed -Executes project management deliverables within budget and as per the approved project plan, working with internal partners to develop the content of those deliverables -Manages changes to project scope through accepted change management processes and documentation -Investigates, escalates and ensures that all project issues are effectively resolved -Develops an understanding of the technology aspects of projects in order to effectively manage the project -Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately on the project team's SharePoint site -Work closely with the IT Manager and other cross functional areas involved in Basel Reporting and Risk Reporting teams. -Facilitates regular project team meetings and client meetings effectively -Prioritizes and manages own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment -Work with the IT Manager to set and manage business partner expectations
Education/Accreditations: Post Secondary Education Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
-5 years project management experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 technology projects in a distributed environment -Previous experience with Risk Reporting an asset -Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) -Successfully completed courses in scheduling, project risk management, leadership and human resources -Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred -Proven ability with MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel |
