Job Description:
Reporting & Business Intelligence Development Team Lead who is an experienced Microsoft SQL Server database developer, also comfortable in Java development, and a development team lead. This individual and the 2-3 person team they will lead will be responsible for projects including, but not limited to the following.
- Data replication and transformation to a set of reporting/analysis databases.
- Creation and maintenance of stored procedures and views to support data extracts, standard and custom reporting requirements.
- Migration and maintenance of standard operational and management reports.
- Development of an analytics dashboard with a various key performance indicators, front end analysis tools, and configurable components.
- Ongoing reporting platform/framework improvements.
- Other custom data extract, reporting and BI projects. |

Must Have Skills:
- Expert level knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 development – replication, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, assemblies, etc.
- Experience with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS would be an asset
- Expert level knowledge and experience with relational database design
- Conceptual, logical and physical data modeling.
- Significant practical development experience in Java, J2EE and Struts or Spring framework and MVC architecture
- Excellent team work, relationship building and communication skills.
- Excellent team leadership skills to lead a team of 2-3 developers.
- Healthcare systems experience an asset, but not required.
