Job Description:
Within our client's IT Risk & Assurance (ITRA) practice, we are currently seeking a Senior Consultant within the Information Management and Analytic Services (IMAS) team.
The IMAS team assists clients to extract, analyze, interpret and transform data to assess and quantify issues, reveal unforeseen problems and identify improvement opportunities in their businesses.
Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan and perform data analytic procedures using various tools (ACL / Access / Excel etc). Gain an understanding of business processes dependent on information technology and document the relevant data flows in these processes. Use knowledge of client systems, data flows and processes to provide insights on potential control weaknesses, cost savings or process improvements identified in the data analytics. Ensure high quality in client service by monitoring daily progress of fieldwork, and informing supervisors of engagement status. Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations. Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

Must Have Skills:
•Degree in Computer Science or Management Information System;
•Good level of knowledge of ACL and Excel
•Good level of knowledge of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
•Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
•Willingness to travel
•Knowledge (or use) of SAP an asset
•Knowledge of Canadian and US Payroll an asset
•Knowledge of Canadian and US withholding requirements an asset
•Knowledge of legal obligations and union environments an asset |
