Department Overview: Corporate Segment Technology Solutions (CSTS) provides application development and support to the various lines of our organization's businesses. This position will report to the Senior Manager to manage Applications on-boarding to the Identity Access Management and Reporting Program. |

-Provide Project Management Services to project initiatives as assigned initially on Application On-boarding to the Identity Access Management Program -Manage a team of IT Business Analysts and Developers on the translation of business requirements into technical specification for configuration of application & document application configuration per System Development (SDLC) methodology -Co-ordinate with Infrastructure, vendor, internal or external development teams to manage the implementation and release application on-boarding processes -Facilitate the development and execution of test strategies and plans -Support business users during User Acceptance Testing phase -Manage the preparation of system implementation plan and support procedure -Provide ongoing application support to the various business units across the organization -Other project initiatives or assignment as assigned
Education/Accreditations: Bachelors Degree in either Economics/Commerce/Business or Math/Computer/Engineering Science
Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
-4-5 years banking experience with exposure to Security Risk or Identity Management concepts -Worked as a Project Manager with proven business analysis and application testing experience -Proven success in large enterprise development/deployment in banking/financial industry -Sound technical understanding of Infrastructure/network/platform/database and application architecture and design in connection to a business application -Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and understanding on Process flows -Excellent written and verbal skills -Familiarity with MS Word, MS Project, Visio and Power Point would be a definite asset -Familiarity with two or more of .Net, JAVA development, Oracle, UNIX and SQL -Familiarity with Project Management methodology
Incumbent needs to have experiences in the following:
Portfolio Management - Experienced in managing a portfolio of larger applications with continuous enhancement requirements on new technology platforms i.e. .Net and JAVA
Business & Process Analysis - Solid ability in getting a good understanding of business requirements or use case details to assess quality of BA deliverables
Directly leading Developers - Directly managing a development team (internal or off-shore) in providing input to good development practice & app design to add value in application design and code quality and standards
People Management - Good management principles in leading larger team with internal and external off-shore resources (up to 10 of BAs and developers)
Financial Management - Experience in budget planning or financial reporting |
