Job Description:
•The development, implementation and support of internal Software
•Work with other Java developers and business units employing Agile development strategy.
•Develop and unit test code.
•Assist in the completion of system testing.
•Prepare technical documentation for delivered functions.
•Support non-production environments for both projects and application enhancements.
•Perform detailed analysis and design tasks for functions and subsystems
•Provide technical expertise, guidance and training to more junior development team members
•Analyze review and rewrite programs to increase operating efficiency and/or adapt programs to new requirements. |

Must Have Skills:
Qualifications
•5+ years of design/development/analysis experience in a large enterprise environment.
•Java Technologies (J2SE, J2EE, EJB, JDBC, Sockets, Java Servlets, JMS Message Drive Bean, XML, XSD scheme, Oracle, Eclipse 3.0 or greater)
•Experience with Tomcat application server (Weblogic experience also nice to have)
•Understanding of the key architecture considerations/issues associated with distributed client/server infrastructures.
•Strong Java knowledge (both back-end and front end development)
•Object oriented application design & development framework
•Telecommunications industry experience is an asset. |
