Job Description:
Key Responsibilities/Job Functions:
• Provide network support and troubleshooting directly for clients, both onsite and phone support .
• Physical and remote installation, maintenance and support of Video On Demand.
• Onsite and Remote support for Video On Deman, Switch Digital Broadcasting
6 phases:
200 Serving Groups per month
Serving Group Prep, NVT and Troubleshoot
- The contractor will ensure all Serving Groups associated to the capacity augmentation project for OD are fully operational prior to be place into production. This will ensure customer impact is minimized.
-Documentation of Augmentation Serving Groups -Provisioning of said Serving Groups on the Seachange System
-Complete Network Verification Testing on all On Demand and Switch Digital Broacast Serving Groups
-Troubleshooting of any failed serving groups until resolution |

Must Have Skills:
- WINDOWS 2003
- CCNA
Job Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. .
• Competent knowledge of network and IP-related technology and protocols.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work shifts and be available for rotating off-hour on call duties .
• Knowledge of Microsoft Servers an asset . Knowledge of Unix and Linux operating system is an asset .
• Experience working with Cisco routers an asset .
• Network+ certification or equivalent an asset .
• Previous experience providing technical support over the telephone is an asset.
