Overview: North America’s largest independent wholesale wireless network service provider, focused on the M2M (machine-to-machine) market place the client is focused on making wireless networks work for our partners, delivering SMS, GPRS and EDGE services to enable sophisticated tracking and logistics applications. The client is currently looking for two a highly motivated software developers to assist us as we move into our next phase of growth. This highly talented individuals will develop our next generation of billing and provisioning systems for our customers. Overall purpose of position: Develop Billing and Provisioning systems required to support the M2M (machine to machine) wholesale business model. The developer would be responsible for implementing new billing programs, as well as supporting the development of new customer provisioning systems and tools. This role will also have lead responsibilities in reviewing the current Database structure, and will be responsible for making recommendations as to how to achieve maximum throughput efficiencies with our current database infrastructure. Main responsibilities: •Develop and Enhance billing plans on our billing platform •Review and make recommendations as to how to structure the Database System to achieve maximum throughput efficiency •Implement Provisioning tools to support customer activations on the billing and provisioning platform. •Manage and support the provisioning tools required to activate and manage services on our downstream suppliers’ networks. •Support other members of the development team as new software tools are added to the customer and supplier interface systems Qualifications required: •Minimum of five years in a Software Development role, ideally with a Telecommunications billing and provisioning software development background. •Post secondary technical degree or diploma in software development or in a related field such as Math or Engineering.
